Interesting week.

A post of mine exploded on Hacker News. Here's what the front page with 700+ comments translates to in visits.

My little $5 web server chugged along basically without noticing. I run this site with Clojure and Jetty. It serves statically rendered HTML. All media comes from Cloud Front.

So things just hummed along without much ceremony.

Interestingly, this only translated into around 3k referrals to the book's page.

Maybe I should add a "buy my book!!!" banner to my site. But, too late. My 15 minutes of nerd fame have expired.

On the book front, I'm still waiting on all the internal feedback to come in. Initial reviews were good, but noted that they found one paragraph confusion, so naturally I went through and rewrote the entire section.

Other than that, it was just a bunch of house keeping and the million of tiny edits and rewordings that stack up as you spend time with a draft.

Next week, I'll be getting the repo into shape. Hopefully reviews will finish up in the meantime. After that: MEAP!
