The main feedback on the draft was that some of the ideas around treating functions as data might have been introduced too abruptly. So, the work this week was smoothing out that transition and slowly guiding the reader towards the finish line. Truth be told, I'm still not sure I've quite figure it out.

Sometimes simple ideas are the hardest to articulate.

Other than that, it was doing all the grunt work of fixing typos, adding the right styles, and numbering all the listings, figures, and tables so they're ready for MEAP.

I'm running behind on updates to the repository. My day job at Amazon did that thing where it deleted most of my free time during the week (as it sometimes does). Alas...

I'm excited to start work on chapter 7. We're going to talk about one of my favorite topics: algebraic properties.

It'll be fast one.
