Good feedback from my editor. The chapter is trying to do a lot, and it was failing in a few places. Last week was a frantic overhaul of everything. The comforting news is that I was on the right track with the previous set of revisions. It just needed more of the same. Show the effects.

The other victory is that I snuck in all these revisions before Brian saw it. It's weirdly important to me that this guy I don't actually know doesn't think I'm an idiot. I am one. But it's better to blend in.

At some point during the week, the manuscript shot past 50 pages, so I just started cutting entire sections. Commutativity? Gone. Useful Algebraic Interfaces? Murdered.

In addition to writing, I continue to make endless revisions to the figures throughout the chapter. My day job is drawing boxes and arrows. My evenings and weekends are drawing boxes and arrows. My life has become drawing boxes and arrows.
